Water Tank Pressure

is my commodore meant to be building heaps of pressure in the water tank? i've checked for blockages and there aren't none what could it be?

As it's a Series one and assuming that it is a V6, and you are referring to the reservoir on the driver's side strut tower, the short answer is: Yes.

well it's a '98 vn executive according to your details... which i'm going to take as meaning '89, which means series 1, which means it is a pressurised tank
