power steering noise???

hi, can anyone give me any ideas on why over the last couple of weeks my VP has started to make a noise from the power steering evrytime i move the steering wheel??? it sounds as if it has no power steering fluid in it but it has!!!! the steering still feels the same and it doesn't leak fluid!! :bang: :hit:

The Rack and Pump Always goes mate on vn - vp's. I got mine done a yr ago. I got to find the receipt and ill post some some info and price for what was done. :bop:

If you know how to fix them the kit cost about $10-15 for the rebuild kits.

If you don't know how to rebuild it yourself, its a piece of piss to change.
Basically remove the drive belt, remove a few bolts and that's it.
Just be careful that the plastic resevoir connections to the pipes don't crack as they are pretty weak and small. Once you've taken it off, take it to a wreckers who should have swap over ones that have been rebult for about 100 bucks.

Don;t bother replacing it until its completely dead thow, because once it starts to whine it usually still has a lot of life left in it.
