need help my vp v6 it runs lean. need to no if you can make them run a bit richer any help would be appreciated thanks
Why does it run lean, got a turbo on it or something?
had the motor rebuilt at outlaw speed shop in Adelaide i also got them to put air fuel ratio gauge and it keeps on lean more than rich its got bigger injectors runs the same chip
You only really want it running rich when you've got your boot in there. Is it fairly close to stoich on the lean side when cruising?

i have s sc14 supercharger going on it and i don't wont the motor ****ing up spent way to much money on it
when you say A/F meter is it a proper wideband display or just a narrow band guage.if it has bigger injectors it should allready be quite rich.the tune can be changed quite easily though it will need a tune for the charger anyway
it's a wideband display it was dyno tuned six weeks ago. after that it has been running lean
how lean are we talking what ratio do you get displayed should be about 14.7 when cruising can be leaner 15.2 ish full throttle should be 13:1 all the way through the revs they love it
it display's 15.1 when cruising and 13.1 at full throttle is that right and that's the motor rev out to 6000rpm
sounds good to me will need retuning for the charger though
thanks will get it returned when the charger is on
are you running both narrowband sensor and wideband sensor in the exhaust or using simulated narrowband off the wideband controller
all i know is the the sensor is connected to the o2 sensor at the ecu it was done the same time the motor was put in one sensor is digital and the other one is a light one witch goes up and down all the time. last night the engine light came on and went of did a check today and the o2 sensor is f***ed
Ahhh that was going to be my next suggestion - throw out and replace the o2 sensor![]()
