As title suggests, I would like to check my timing but unfortunately don't have a timing light! This won't be a regular occurrence for me so I'm not quite sure if it's worth purchasing one, thought perhaps someone will be kind enough to lend me one so I could quickly check.
I'm located on the Mornington Peninsula, VIC. So if you're near, please help!
PS I'll probably need help checking the timing too as I don't know how to do that properly.
Thanks guys
you can borrow mine if your up for a road trip?
Try & find a retail store that sells them, maybe K mart or something if your lucky...Then just be carefull opening it & you can take it back after your done with it & get a refund.

Correct me if I am wrong but I would not worry too much about checking the timing on a V6 as the timing is not adjustable so if it wrong your computer is a dud.

ok would prolly pay to invest in a cheap one then.
I got one you can borrow - it's a cheap one from supercheap and I call him "Mr Zappy".
.... and for reference: getting zapped by a MSD ignition setup feels like getting smashed in the chest with an iron bar..... 30 times............ in one half a second.
awesome, thanks luke! MUCH appreciated![]()
Getting on the bad side of a AC Tig welder feels similarI had to sit down and recover the other day mid weld. Not even sure how it happened
