    Default Engine Bay

    Hey guys,

Whats the best way to clean up a 5L engine bay, I'm not up for hiding wires or anything crazy like that, but to clean it right up, neaten etc?

    Any ideas.. ?

Spray on degreaser and a waterblaster?

Start by cleaning it, then consider some colour perhaps. Depends on the look you want.

Thats what I would like to achieve.. I'm guessing a bit of paint, elbow grease, degreaser, and tire shine!?

Pretty much. Make sure you paint everything well, clean up and prime the plastic properly and you too can have a shiny office.

The best thing about shiney clean and freshly painted engine bits, is that dust sticks to them like the proverbial to a blanket. When it's all dull and worn, but still clean, it stays cleaner for longer That's what I've found, anyway ^_^

Damm straight:P mines pretty clean and it's all old and worn out, I figure if paint can no longer stick to itself then what kind of chance does dust have
