vn v8 5spd computer?
is the v8 computer the same as the v6 only with a differant chip? is this correct info ive been given? would the harness plug into a vr computer, can i change the v6 vr computer to a v8?,

VN/VP V6/V8 all use the delco 808 ecu, you just need to use the right memcal (chip) the VR uses the delco 165 ecu which will also plug straight into the VN/VP loom. however you will still need a memcal to suit 165 ecu (can't use the VN/VP memcal)

ok so i have a vn harness and a vr v6 auto computer? i wont have any trouble getting it to work with a v8 manual once i change the memcal?

one last quick question if you dont mind me picking your brain a little? do you think ill be able to run this all on my vt 5L 5spd Getrag without running into problems, and get some custom tunning? its all about to go in the vr?
VR auto PCM wont plug into VN loom...only a VR manual ECM will.

i have my vr v6 5sp computer however i want to sell it with my v6 5sp conversion..... i might try and track something down?
