Default I want to spray my VN matt black

I've got a great VN V6 5 speed that needs painting as it has the usual crappy faded blue paint. I was hoping to get it done cheaply in matt black. Not after a show finish as I'd rather spend the money on new suspension and wheels etc. Looking for a mean lowered look in matt black with silver interceptors and tinted windows.
The car itself has done only 140000 easy kms so while it has a tiny bit of rust it still has a heap of life in it and being worthless as a sale I might as well do something with it.

It still needs all new door seals and headlining and it leaks water onto your feet after a few days of heavy rain.
Anybody out there who could do a cheap spray job for me?
It doesnt matter if the insides of doors etc are still blue as it will never be a show car, just want something better than the crappy stock paint.
Im in Sydney if that helps.

Thanks for any advice guys and gals.

I could do it myself but cant be bothered masking up the car and it would cause problems with neighbours if i sprayed a car here.

I have started to paint mine black. You have to get the right paint and thinners. You can spray you car with a black enamel and sand it back, that will leave a matt black finish. Get a cheap electric spray gun and do one section as a test and to refine your technique. I got one off trademe for 20 bucks

Id say matt black with red interceptors(with chrome nuts and caps), white walls and a white venetian in the back window. Maybe a mexican blanket as a rear seat cover. Oh and slam that thing right down on the ground.

But that might just be me...

lol thats sounds like what you said in my ride thread and i like it but venetians would be changed to curtains and mexican blanket might have a mattress underneath it and i might just paint the moon caps red instead.
Oh morton the red would go well with my interior

I will do it one day soon i gotta drive down to balnarring to paint it though my mates got all the gear there to do it

Lol yeah I was going to the hot rod style. I think it would be cool to do to a more modern car. It should hopefully annoy the trad style guys and the modern car guys and especially morton.

if you go spray can then get a good name brand one. taubmans or dulux would be my choice and 2 tins per panell and about 4 each for roof and bonnet. With care it will look ok. Don't try to get the last out of the can as that bit looks crappy.

while matt black may look cool, i hope you have a damn good aircon in your car. :P

seen quite a few s13 drift hacks spray painted black, they dont look too bad.
You're probably wondering where you are. I'll tell you where you might be. You might be in the room that you die in. This is your wake up call.
