hi everyone my name is dale i have a vn commodore and a written off vs and was wondering if the vs running gear will go straight into my vn and if the vs wiring loom will fit in as i want to transfer my vn to a ecotec and my trans is knackered so if any one has pointers can u please let me know as i want to do it asap
i think its a straight bolt in, but aslong as you have all the electrics etc and are willing to swap them ( loom ecu bcm everything ) it may work
If you have absolutely everything, it's easy (just time consuming).

yes take pics and number the wiring so you know were it all goes. you will want to swap the dash and front door trims to so it is easier to hook it all up.
the front track width is different so not sure about the front end going in.
i think the is a good chance as long as the distance between the strut top shafts is very close. otherwise the wheel alignment will never be right.
Best to check with a engineer if it is legal to swap front ends.
hi i just want to swap the ecotec trans tailshaft and diff with the vs dash so no kframe or steering components thanks for your info to guys
yeah not too hard a swap with the full loom will need to modify the loom in some place like the washer bottle etc in different spots
ive just finished the conversion dash can be abit of pain but can all be done
