HI i have a 1993 vpss 304 was looking at headers the other day and noticed there was no oxy sensor fitted anywere in the headers or any part off exhaust system
All off my v6s 3.8s have had oxy sensors, i thought the ecu needed input from sensor to make mixtures right
thanks
victtor
my v8s got a oxy sensor mate - urs comin up with any error codes - if not (like mine) could be the engine warning light globe gone -
can easily put ur car in diagnostic mode and check - but very weird indeed - would be a very thirsty car without it id imagine
should be on the pass side pipe near the cat thats where mine is.
check again
yep same as mine passenger side extractors
Do you have aftermarket extractors fitted? Really dodgy ones without an O2 sensor plug?![]()

yeah same passenger side in there somwhere near the bell housing. It not imported from new zealand or somthing.
check the 4 letter code on the sticker in the memcal. might be able to work out if it has a NZ non-oxy sensor tune in it
1995 Manual HSV Clubsport
Wade Cam :: 9.2:1 CR :: Pacemaker headers :: Twin 2.5" Exhaust :: VT Brakes
1991 Supercharged VN Berlina
9 PSI SC14 Intercooled :: Genie headers :: Twin cats :: HM Twin 2.25 exhaust :: 3.45:1 LSD
don't worry, they don't have oxy sensors mine doesn't either I think its an NZ thing.
