Vp Paint Problem

hey im in the process of painting my dash, i am up to painting my center console, where you rest your arm, when it moves it cracks is there anything you can do to stop that

what do you mean when it moves it cracks?

Did you use primer? could be that you put to many coats on and didnt let each coat dry, just something that ive noticed in the past when ive fkd up

vinal dye? or normal spray paint? In my old car i just washed it with hot water and did 2 layers with black vinal dye and it never cracked or rubbed off

suppose to use plastic primer if your not using a dye
