JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT A KIT FOR 3.8 S1 REAR MAIN SEAL.
when i had to replace the rear main seal i had a few drames its a rope seal $30 and on the rear bearing cap theres two ruber seal genuine holden part$45 each i found a kit to convert rope to neropain and you get the rubber seal all for $30 bucks thanks to a friend who builds race engines (northern head and engine reconditining) aka mark so if anyone wants this kit head down to out law speed shop dont go to sprints or parts boys coz if you ask for those two seal they dont have a clew. its a felpro brand and im prity sure it said on back suit v8 as well.hope this helps anyone having same dramas.if anyone tells you to just put sealant where the rubber seal gose do not listern to them they are smoking funny stuff it WILL LEAK.
