i dont know what its called but under where the cdplayer goes ive seen a few people installing 2-3 gauges in there
i was wondering what they used?? is it any type of hard plastic ? what kinda glue? etc.. help would be coolthankss
i guess anything would work, just what you can get your hands on and my mate did it in his vn a little while ago using checker plate and turned out pretty good

haha yea i was going to use about anything to.. still looking !!
i only have one gauge at the moment but unsure what to get next
vacuum (same as air ratio i guess?)
fuel air ratio
oil temp
oil pressure
i'd go, oil pressure
water temp
and volts
that would be everything you need

yes it seems abit that way social.. but who cares its a car forum
ive just ordered my vac gauge ! !!
unsure whats next, mayb oil pressure too! wasnt there thread on how to install that
hahaha, someone posted my pics before i could, ihave (as seen in the pics) voltage, trans temp and oil temp in the center console, i also have a exhaust temp (for nitrous use) hanging under the dash and oil pressure on the steering column. i'll also be fitting a vac/boost gauge for another mod going on soon. vac gauges are very handy for diagnosing various faults. the diff temp was purely out of curiosity to see what sort of temps it hits when doing burnouts, i suspect things actually get fairly warm back there

I have gauges put aside at repco, they are monza digital ones, i think i got Vac/boost Volts Oil pressure, i think thats it, i will be making up a 3 gauge setup as above out of MDF and black vynil, the gauges all up are about 70-80bucks reduced of course![]()

Here's mine that I made. Took a while to do, but once you get going it's not too bad. Used PVC pipe, stretchy material, FG resin, and bog to finish it off.
Just go to the wreckers and get another glovebox and cut it up. Ive got one spare im going to butcher up soon.
This thread is why most people hate gauges! Mounted stupidly!
This is the only car i've seen with gauges that look any good. Although, when you have a VS EXT they gauges are actually usefull, not just wank factor.
