i want to put on a VT Supercharged cold air intake system and i know the genuine ones fit with no drama.

by the looks of it you might just need a heat gun in case it doesnt shut fully - i bought a normal cold air intake for the v8 and it needed to be softened up to close the bonnet the first time - was fine after that.

so you like install it normally right and if the bonnet doesn't close get the heat gun and flatten it a bit to comfort.

thats what i did with my v8 cold air intake yep - didnt need much just softens it up so when ya close your bonnet and it cools and sets its a nice snug fit

Its the VS Supercharged air intake that fits, not VT... That one will not be a straight fit.

Thats the wrong one, plus its smaller than the VS setup anyway.

i got the ss cold air induction from holden for my Vs i also go the new air box bottom part to fit it, instead of having to cut the original one

yeah that's the way to do it by using the propper bottom piece to fit it.

do i just call up Holden and ask them to send me one?

"Welcome to Holden spare parts, please say if you want pick up or home delivery now."

i didnt see any point getting the bottom half of the airbox, took me 5 mins to cut the stock one and cost nothing
