mate start doing some searching ... its not that hard to find the answers u need rather than starting heaps of threads. vn 90 had s1 and s2 if the thermostat is at the back of them motor its a s1

if u look at the side of you motor on the drivers side there will be a cooling pipe above the spark plug moving along to the back of the motor.... thats a series 1

if the top of the radiator pipe goes to the front of the motor its a series 2

ok i went had a look the raddy on the driver side there a think black hose then rungs towards driver then drops down where it says 3800 on top mainfold has lil pipe coming out side of it

is it a pipe that runs along the side of the motor the the back or does it go to the front

runs to from the raddy to the back so i guess its a s1
