Ford at least they circled the problem
i always see ads for carpet in just cars and just parts magazines, although the ones i see seem to always be 2 piece (with a lengthways join under the drivers seat) which i don't like the idea of.
if you don't mind a 2 piece job i'd look at them, otherwise anyone else suggest a once piece shop?
I'd also like to know who manafactures a one piece carpet mould....
im also thinking of getting new carpet for my wagon ive picked up recently, what has to be pulled out so you can fit new carpet, i know seats, centre console has to come out but how does it go under the dash, i dont want to have to do it if you have to pull the whole dash out
to remove carpet
seats
centre console
seat belt stalks
foot rest
kick boards
a coulpe large round screw sort of things up under the dash
maybe the plastic trims along the bottom of the door sills
there are a few places that recolour carpet.
if you have it out maybe they can help.
Yea i dano i was hoping juus to re lay everything matt black and then white outlines for some things and as u can see in photos of my interior![]()

the two-part carpet that you can get (also on ebay.. eg: Knox Auto Carpets || Car Carpet and Moulded Carpet Specialists) is moulded to fit the shell. They have the moulds and it gets shipped all ready to go.
Personally as I do alot of work on my cars, the two part carpet makes it eaiser for running wires / doing work, etc.
You do have to cut some holes through.
if you dont want a new colour carpet.
and just one in good condition.
check out some wreckers. till you find a decent carpet.
pull all your stuff out of your car. and chuck the new carpet in'
I think all the aftermarket ones are two piece. I got extra plushsuper thick it is
An easy thing to do your self. You'd be crazy to get someone else to do it.
Flip open SC mag or street machine and there's always an add in there![]()
yeah anyone know where to get molded boot carpet for a vp
only prob is i got a gas tank in mine.
my carpet is in real poor quality and just no shape in it
The plush carpet in Berlinas and Calais lasts almost forever so if you have an Exec and the carpet is had it(doesnt last long) then you can just grab some from a crashed Berlina/Calais
Try ebay. Earlier this week I saw some for a VN for around $150 for brand new moulded carpet and the colour of your choice. Material looked fairly nice too. Good luck.
