    1 depends what ones
2 yea if its what your after
3 damn u i was guna get those good buy at $120
4 looks good after but its risky, number 9 will come in handy if u fk it up haha
5 what do u mean by carpet? as in re-carpet the whole car yourself? why dont you just buy a good condition one out of a wrecked car?
6 im all for power windows your in the about price range for it, make sure you get the right looms
7 as for rims, im a big beleiver in 2nd hand ones, so much more worth it can get some serious bargains
8 what bodykit you after? group a always looked good
9 depends on colour, if your after your white youve already got shouldnt be too expensive
as for grill, downright sv3800 is the best i recon

goodluck with that, i didnt see a 2.5" catback exhaust on there though
and also painted rear taillights properly with white paint look good too
    heres how mine looked

    1. Good seats make a good car They're where you spend 90% of the time.
    2. Always nice to have a tacho.
    3. Lowering to about Superlows improves the handling 10 fold. Second hand springs and shocks ftw.
    4. Removing the side strips can look nice
    5. Carpet? Really? The stuff on eBay may not be the best fit or quality.
    6. Power windows sound nice, but Holden power windows tend to break
    7. Rims? Save the money for a V8 conversion
    8. Add the body kit money to the V8 conversion, and you can have a V8 Manual.
    9. Don't even bother respraying it. If you want to respray a car, buy a HJ Premier and respray that.
    10. The right grille can look nice. The wrong grille will make your car look like a pregnant hippo.

i wouldn't bother with rims... all they do is weigh your car down and make it handle worse! bodykit would also be a waste of money, you'd never get a single cent back on it, and imo it'll look gay anyway.

yeh they may weigh more than stockies, but imo they make the car look a little less deroish (no offence to those who have stockies)

but i do agree with you on the bodykit will not make a cent back and will look gay..

and vp stock go with 1-6... all very affordable and improves the car feel and look.. and 7 if you have the cash

Yea not so sure about body kit

Rims would be a birthday an tax back buy thing just to get the scrubby vn ss off

Everything else will be good and looking nice after it

haha, well i'm a dero then. vn ss rims are pretty bad though, especially on a vp. i'd suggest buying some genuine holden rims, like vx clubsport rims (they're awesome) for example. you should be able to pick up a pair for a reasonable price

Bah, everyone has it all wrong. Rims look tough, mags on a VN/VP look derro. Unless you get the right mags with a bit of dish, and NO CHROME, they won't look any good at all.

Stockies = tough, Dinner Plates = derro.

    Get it right

Morton have I become so old that a HJ Premier is desirable car ? rather than those ugly things you buy if you can't get a HQ

Well actually through the hills, small rims like a set of 15x6 cop rims with 205 or 215, 65 or 60's will have a lot of play and warp in the sidewall, where as a bigger rim with smaller tyyres will have less play in the sidewall, thus performing better, however going as big as 19inch + will be too big for hill runs imo..

the HJ Premier is a BEAUTIFUL car But the HQ will always be prettier:

What I meant, actually, was that if he was to spend the money respraying a car, he should restore something nice like a HJ. I was suggesting that they're worth the money
