alright so the deall is...
i just killed a transmission, dont know how, but the fluid went from pink to black in a week or 2 without me doing anything mean to it, despite running fine for the past 6 months
so i have a new transmission sitting here, about to put it in,
AND i noticed the cooler lines on the engine are rusted, and kinked in some spots.
okay, maybe transmission overheated?
so i headed off to supercheap, they said i could use fuel hose, or power steering return hose for replacement of cooler lines... so i has 5 meters of 100psi power steeering return hose sitting here, waiting for me to route around the car so it wont be heated by the exhaust
THEN i noticed the rubber lines that connect the radiator to the metal lines on the engine were rated to 400psi
is the new 100psi lines going to hold, or blow? ive had conflicting advice
ps. sorry if i dragged it out abit
its never going to get too 100psi let alone 400 its a low pressure feed pretty much.
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
sweet, ill be putting it in wednesday. should be good to have a functioning transmission again, and even better if it doesnt die out on me
