    Default slight problem

Hey guys just completed a manual conversion on my vp v6 and now am experiencing major vibrations

not at idol but more when driving.

i think it maybecaused from the bent cross member which caused me to force the box over like an inch so that the bolt holes lined up, major pressure on that bolt.

any ideas what else it could be or where i can get a cross member from?

    cheers,

    Lawrence.

If the gearbox is crooked the tailshaft will be out of whack, that is probably why it is vibrating.

Yup, a lot of people bust their engine mounts doing a manual conversion. I know I did.

Change the engine mounts, and the trans mount. You'll notice the transmission straightens up a LOT when you do that Mine was quite a ways off to the right with the sagged mounts.
