    Default Power Window Upgrade

How you going guys. Im wanting to upgrade the windows in my VN Wagon to electrics.

I know i need regulators for all 4 doors, the wiring loom to all the doors and the actual power window module that has the 4 switchs on it.

My question is, once i have the loom and ive ran it all and connected it, Where does it plug into to? I know it connects inside the doors and to the switch block, but the other end where does it go? To the computer? or does it just need 12v?

Also im assuming the wiring loom from a VN-VS Statesman will fit the VN Wagon?

there is a large internal loom you will need to get with a power window module that runs from under your dash to all the doors

Search function is great for questions like these.

Go to Post #44 in this thread> How to install Power Windows.

Might give you an idea of what should connect where.

Yeah but can you do this without using a window module.. i cant see why its needed really.. basic electric principles say it should be able to be hooked up to run without a module.

Yer thats what i wanted to know. I dont mind not having auto window up etc (apparently my keyless entry system is capable of handling that on its own.)

I just havent been able to source one out on ebay.

I was honestly planning to just run the new loom throughout the car, skip the module and have it all controlled manually from the switchblock in the centre console.
