Default Radiator - Bubbles in water.

    Hey

Been using a bit of coolant latly, over flow bottle in a day.....

When i was at the rad shop checkin on a warrenty claim on my cracked rad, he had a look at this spray leak i got, couldnt find where it was comin from. Its around the pump, i think its comin out of the gasket between the 2 peices of pump top side, sprayin the dfi n hb.

Anyways opened up me rad to do a stray current test, n he noted the amount of bubbles thru me rad, stateing thats my head gasket showin signs itsa bout to go.

Whats the chances of it being this, i think its my pump as ive had it for 100,000km n never changed it.

Could the air be gettin sucked in by the pump, sending it thru the system?

well if its leaking out of the pump around where it meets the timing cover replace it and then check the radiator again

u cant really see it leakin, not green coolant, its like a white residue on the left corner of me DFI.

There was one drop of coolant near the hose that runs to inlet manafold. so tighened that hose, thinkin that the prob. but tis not

Im getttin a pump on thrus, wack that in there.

Mite take the dodge pump outta my vn wreck tonite, pop that in see if it stops, still get new pump tho

Ill get sum pics of this residue left behind

Fan belt ate lower hose at the bend near the pump, was hopeing that was my problem, but still a bubbling away after it was changed last night.

When i rev with rad cap off, level drops a lil bit 1cm, then let off level comes back up, then fills with bubbles. go pics on me phone, but no wasy to get em off on this comp. tonite ill do it

There's a very high probability you have a leaking head gasket.

    I strongly doubt it.
