paint code chart for vp

hey guys,

my new vp's bonnet has really bad sun burn and i was planning on respraying it. I just need to know where i can find the paint code i thought there might have been some kind of vin number identifier that tells you (nissan has similar). I cant seem to find anything about it all i know is that the car is like a maroon colour. and how much would i need for bonnet and the top of the front 1/4 panels. I have a professional painter helping me spray it i just need the colour he wont chase it down because he doesnt have the time.

It will be under the bonnet mate on one of the plates. Right next to 'Paint' or 'Paint Code'

well that would be helpful but the car is not at my property atm so i was hoping i could just find something with some thumbnails or the colour and a name beside it
