hey guys and gals got a quick question for yas will a vp starter fit on a vr???
the gf brought a vr and the ****er wont start i have tried charging the battery no good tried useing mine (from a vp less than three month old) the vr has power just wont kick over so i was gunna swap starter and see if that helps
Hit the solenoid with a hammer or something heavy and see if it starts then. As far as I know they are the same. The VN series 1 was different, then the VS changed again.
ok i jumped it ran it for like an hour turned her of then nothing but ticking after a piss weak attempt at starting
aint the battery i put a brand spankin new one in same problem grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
yeah new battery and no start straight away and sh is auto
Have you checked the connections on the starter and the battery, make sure they are tight.
that was the first thing i checked mate
might be the inhibitor switch on the gear lever try in neutral instead of park
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

yeah tried that no my car is doing it (vn engine s1)
will a vp fit this one???????
Check the EFI relay.
how do i do that???
i didnt think of the efi relay on the vr due to the fact i can get the damn thing started (with jump pack same as vn)
so you connect jumper pack leads and it cranks ide say you srnt getting a good contact on the battery posts are you putting the neg of the jump pack on the battery or straight on the block if putting it on the block ide say earth from battery isnt connecting well.are either of the battery terminals hot after trying to crank it without the jumper pack
