Hey im looking at a set of 20inch rims for my VN at the front its 20by9 and at the back its 20 by 10 the bloke at the shop said theres no way you'll get a 20 y 10 on the back of the vn. whats the verdict, i know u can get it chopped to fit but what sort of drama is it actuall or should i go with the 19's
Are you after looks and defection?
Or are you after looks and legal?
Anything over 19" your risking defects. Anything over 18" your risking problems (flat tyres ect...)
Im after 20's its as simple as that, my mates got a set of the new VE SS rims on his VP and there 20's but there only 20 by 8.5 at the back and all he had to use was spacers but im getting deep dish at the back so its completly different to fit
Yeah it's lowered, its got a mean stance on it ha i'll see if i can grab a photo or 2
dont tell me you have one of those sportzclub stickers on the back...

im pretty sure you cant go a 10" without tubs......
Id go 19's max, but thats just me personally
I think There will be some work that needs to be done to get them on there but it will be worth it when i get the paint on there.

Youll need to roll your gaurds and install an adjustable penard rod to fit 20"s
My old VN used to scrub on 17 x 9's.
Even if you go 19" you will need to roll the gaurds.
I already have the Adjustable rod and gaurds are already lipped. But from where the rims are dished it's 7" inward. and 3outward

its not a sports club is the issue, :P its not a tuff car till it has a v8 :P
you need to roll guards, to fit 10" wide you will need to test fit, fronts will scrub hardcore on the guards, but it can be done, and camber on the front will have to be perfect
Yeah i know with some body work u can do anything ha
