    Default VQ SII switches

Hey guys, the missus has a VQ statesman series 2, her light and wiper switches have just fallen apart, is it possible to rebuild them coz it's damned hard to find any good ones, and when she does ppl are askin a fortune for them!!

Anyways, sure you guys can point us in the right direction.

    Cheers

Both the switches, the parts that turn to allow them to work have just fallen off, both sides, wipers knob isn't even on anymore, the headlights you need to keep moving the switch around to get them to actually work, then just as you come around a corner in the dark they shut off......... so much fun when that happens

The bit that rotats is held in by a small plastic nut. Get a knif blade into the end of the plastic and twist it sideways. the end should just pop off. look into the end and you will see the nut with 2 small hols in it. Use a pointed screw driver to rotate it up tight.

The little nut comes loose - that's all normally. Or it can snap off.

I have a few spare bits if you get stuck.

Yeah mate the little nuts/screws/whatever were broken on both sides, will try and super glue them over night and see how it goes, if it doesn't work can these parts still be bought new ??
