serpentine belt tensioner

My serpentine belt tensioner is stuffed,where do I get one and how much.Is it worth buying second hand or should i go new.

common fault, I think you can just replace the bearing without the whole unit.

What part of it is stuffed?? The bearing or the spring?

the spring it keeps jumping up with the a/c on.

Yea, you will have to get the whole thing. If you go to a wrecker, or even better a self serve wrecker, put the socket wrech on it and make sure the spring feels nice and tough before taking it.

New is obviously the best option, but for the $$$ id take my chances with the wrecker!
