I have a leak I can see it driping down at the bottom of the water pump in the centre, question is do I have welch plugs behind the pump or do I just replace the pump ?
There are welsh plugs on the sides and back of the motor as the hole for the water pump is enough to blast the sand from the water jacket sand cast out when they originally poured the mould for the block.
So, yes it should be the water pump.![]()
any idea how much they are
40 off ebay or 90ish from autobarn
if theres water leaking leaking from where you say it is the seal in your water pump is gone you just need to replace waterpump
Lol $90 i wouldnt pay that 40 is about right depends where you go trade prices are handy

About $45 for a newie.Sum of the ser 1 have the mounting adaptor block on the rear of the water pump so u may need 2 gaskets. No welsh plugs in behind there, most likely a corroded timing case aswell...
