hey guys, i wanted to know if i can modify a VS bodykit to suit a VN commodore without changing the guards and lights or anything?
I am pretty handy with fibreglass and i was just wondering if anyone had an ideas, if not i will modify my VN standard bumpers with a bit of fobreglass and patience.....![]()
Rear and sides will fit but you have to modify the front bar. You will have to add some fibreglass to the grill section of the vs bar to suit the vn's bigger opening. It looks tops!![]()
yeah it can be done i have a vs clubbie kit on my vp it looks killer the only thing u need for the front bar is a vr reo / support bar which will set u back about $140 then they can install it i got mine done at ssv www.ssv.com.au i reccomend them they are really good at matching colours and they have a really high standard of work anyway good luck![]()
thanks guys, i might see if i can get just a standard VS front and rear bars and modify them to suit the way that i want them.
Does anyone know how hard it is to use fibrglass?
I asked my father and he said its easy, so if i cant work it out i will ask him, i am also fibreglassing some speaker pods as well, but i am only using resin and bog. should look sweet.
ssv?? those guys are possibly the most expensive place ive ever seen for anything to do with cars!

$550 for a front bar unfitted, unpainted, unfreighted? ... unblievable!
i spose they're still in business for a reason though, someone must buy stuff off em! lol
hows their work?
yeah i agree it set me back $1900 for the front bar and side skirts fitted and painted but there work is awesome it is straight and looks like it was ment to fit so many cars cruising around with bent kits ewww nothing worseOriginally Posted by s0sage
