If the car has Rego and a RWC, good paint and is in good overall condition, but stock I think you could get anywhere up to $3000. Its hard to say though without seeing the car and not knowing where you're from.
I just had my VP converted to gas a few months ago and it runs very well on LPG. The guys who installed it fitted the filler behind the fuel door and integrated my dash so when I switch to lpg, my fuel gauge reads for lpg. It also only costs me about $30 a week to run now, which is much easier on m pocket.
thanks for the replies, ive heard that the v6 didnt convert well to gas or it wrecks the motors, you dont see many vn on gas at all
whats a fuel sender unit worth in the tank, found out this one isnt working
I would think about 3000 depending on conition. I hace one not on gas not that expensive to run aslong as you dont thrash it to hard
just wondering if its a good its a good idea to put gas on a motor thats done 280 000, and what rims will fit it, are all vn to vt the same and up to vl are different??
thanks
anyone tell me what wheels will fit the vn, and what it would cost to get converted to gas thanks
Vn - Vz fit, Ve also fit i think but i think the offset is different and need some bits to make them fit. Gas maybe up to $4500. You'll have a proper system them and not a dodgy backfiring mixer setup.
the first 2 speeds of the fan arent working any ideas whats causing this, also about the gas i ve been told that the vn burn valves, is there gas heads for vn's thanks
there probably are but you don't need them. people say a lot of bad things about gas that really aren't true. i had a vn v6 that was on gas it's whole life, so 330,000 GAS kms when i sold it, ran like a dream. it'll cost you about $300 to get gas installed after the rebate, and then you want new plugs and leads as well. make sure you ask around, you want a gas carby NOT a gas ring. this is from experience. you do not need gas injection for your application, the carby will be fine.
i think you'll find the fan problem is the fan speed resistor. search that up see what you find.
