VP SS Decals & Stripping

Hi everyone,

I'm going to repaint the SS soon and am curious about the decals and stripping.

I've sourced the Decals from Ebay - Holden Commodore VP SS & Decal Kit - eBay Decals, Decals, Badges, Detailing, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 03-May-09 09:11:34 AEST)

I'm wondering if these are legit/original or copies? Any ideas?

I'm wondering how to find the stripping? Is there a technical name? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would say copies.... try your holden dealer and take your VIN with you...

Those are definately fakes. I bought them thinking they were real.

Holden don't sell them, only rare spares do, and there $214 before postage.


I'm selling the striping from the kit i bought, cause i only needed the decals if your interested (link in sig)

I'm guessing you mean that the ones from the ebay link are fake?

Does that mean the ones from rare spares are genuine?

If that's the case, I'd would have liked to have gotten the stripping off you, but want the genuine decals too.

Yeah the ebay link is fake. There good copies, if your not pedantic, but i am.
The lines are right, they just don't have the clear holes that show the body colour through them.


Do rare spares have any left? there were 2 or 3 left when i bought mine about 6 months ago.
