Rough Steering, Strange

Hey guys, i bought a VN Calais not to long ago. The steering pump needed replaceing which i did and i noticed a change in the steering.

Ok the weird thing is when the car is cold the steering feels stiff, but after 10 mins its nice and loose. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my car?

im not sure whether its normal or not, id say it is though.
But my VP has a cracked power steering pump and rack so i need to to get them replaced, just wondering how much did the pump cost you? and was it new or used

I got a second hand pump but ALL the seals were replaced so it was pretty much brand new, $50 and i had to buy the resivour which was another $10

You can buy brand new power steering pump for $70.

The power steering rack is not really much, it also depends it you will be putting it in yourself or not.

A second hand rack should be much, for a brand new one you will be looking at $200+

thanks mate, your car looks like a real sleeper, could have that thing blown and cops wouldn't look twice unless you've got p plates up lol, but yeah nothing screams classy like a calais :P
