Power steering pump compatibility VN V8/VN V6
Ok....so my power steering pump is leaking (shock horror!) Anyway, I bought a seal kit and I have pulled the pump apart only to find that the pressure plate inside has cracked in half (great) The local pick a part has plenty of V6's in stock (with pumps I hope) so I am wondering will a V6 power steering pump fit in place of a V8 one? I haven't been under the bonnet of a V6 for ages so can't remember what's in there. Tried searching, but found no answer. Any help would be great. Thanks.
