Slips or revs out? If its all gears then Id say kickdown cable.
could be the kickdown or not enough fluid or did you leave the torque converter on the flexplate and lift the box onto it like you shouldnt do.
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
Yeah I experienced this 4-5 times after a rebuild, due to shonky installers wont mention there buisness. Ended up being the kickdown cable, and once they forgot to re-fill the tranny with oil both things resulting in gears slipping/holding gear/reving out
pretty much what people have said above, doa service and adjust the kickdown cable and if its still doing it then go get another gearbox or beco yours because its stuffed lol
mine is slippin out of gear aswell and it isnt the kickdown. Som1 told me it might b slip rings but i dont kno, dont really care either im gonna rip the auto out and chuck in a manual![]()
