Does anyone have SS induction kit they will sell to suit my 5 Litre VP
why do you want an ss reduction kit? it's just an overpriced piece of plastic. holden cai will do the trick, $60 new, or find one second hand. i paid $30 for an air box and a cai modified to suit a vp.
the ss induction big mouth gets more air in, thats why i want that one
the fastest cars on this forum do not use ss inductions. no doubt it works (despite it's reputation: ss reductions), it just doesn't work any better than the following:
a. holden cai
b. holden cai modified (cut) to 'get more air in'
c. pipe running from airbox to front bar
d. b and c together
but if you really want to waste money, check the FOR SALE section, or post in the WANTED TO BUY section.
They will work on most cars, just the LS1 it doesn't seem to work too well on.
But your car can't get more air inAt the end of the day, your car can only eat so much air - and it will get just as much from a Holden CAI, or a home made one. I just run a $20 black ribbed pipe from my airbox down to the front bumper - and I can guarantee you it can fit more air through than the SS CAI, and it gets colder air, too.
The SS Reductions CAI is a waste of money - for that price you could get a nice tyre![]()

Ok cheers guys
yep waste of money, I had an SS inductions on my VT only because I got it for free. But didnt notice any difference between the SS inductions and my 100mm pipe from airbox.
money could be better spent elsewere on the motor.
