Thread: How do you align oil pump with the crankshaft?

    Default How do you align oil pump with the crankshaft?

    I am fitting my timing cover back onto the VN s1 motor and all i need to do is get the bloody oil pump to align with the keyway on the crank.

    How does everyone else do it?? Im literally going to and from the car all day as i need this for work..

    Any help froms omebody who has done this before would be awesome

    I finally got it on! Just had to get a mirror out and a screwdriver to move the pump gear.
