Hey all
there are 1000000000000 posts regarding the VT front brake conversion thats cool. What i also want to do is install ABS on the vn.
I was just wondering should i convert the vn to ABS first and get that running.
THEN convert to VT brakes but buy ABS rotors/hubs and that should still work? IF that makes sense lol Atm my rotors are so worn they make a squeeking noise that only goes away when the brakes are pressed. Instead of getting replacement rotors i might aswell upgrade to ABS and VT front brakes
Cheers all!
By the time you did and tested that and had the engineering cert you could have brought a VT
So what.. roughly a shit vt is $7000 to buy:
1 x unregistered vn,vp calais ($1000) Vs berlina fully opt went for $965 this month.
1 x vt brake conversion kit ($800) or so with hubs adaptors etc..
1x engineers cert (no idea, $1000?)
Then ill have a light car with abs and twin piston calipers or a VT which is heavier and doesnt come with abs, while not having the appeal of an earlier model car :P
I didn't literately mean that much but i know a lightweight VN with ABS would be a very good thing i agree.
But would it really be worth your time in doing so.
you may have to investigate a VR's system and see if you can adapt it.
You have the unit under the bonnet and it's computer the wheel sensors etc.
