Default Using VP harmonic balancer on VN

Got a stuffed balancer on my VN. I have a VP I'm stripping with a good balancer but its the later one (wont fit VN). Can the VP one be used on a VN if other parts are also changed?

I think if you put a series two cas on a series one you may have to mod it a little, the series one is a small compact unit the series two has a full plastic shroud, might need to use the timing cover aswell.

Changing the timing cover would be too much hassle. Might just look for an S1 balancer.

the cas can be swaped as long as you have the right balencer but you need to remove the plastic shroud behind the balancer permanently some reason the shroud dont line up and the s2 balencer rubs on it but as long as the cas and balencer are off the same car you should be fine oh and check the weights in the back of the old and new balancer if there on opposite sides you may have an issue i didnt with mine but ive been told its not a good idear as far as weather it suits apparently it can cause Bering friction or some crap and if ya ask 88GreenVN nicely and give him ya engine number he can tell ya what your engine build is which you will need to buy the correct balencer come on help him out like ya did me all those moons ago 88GreenVN
