As I replied in the other thread:

"has power steering for a vn/vp"...

what do you need? The pump? The rack? Everything inbetween?

well in that case, you can't say "will a vr/vs pump fit"... because VR and VS had different pumps You need to work out which motor your pump came from, first.

Come on man, vague it up a bit

Haha only reason i asked that is because my brother inlaw has a vr and he is wrecking it at the moment to get rid of it cause he doesnt like it no more lol and he said i can have anything off it for free and i thought i should get everything possible i can off of it for my vp, but dont know what will fit on a vp off a vr

N the pump i have in my car is the original one on my vp, and i need a new one so i thought about the vr pump

Well if it's from a VR (you should've said that to start with ), it'll fit. Same engine, same parts.

the VS pump is the same as the earlier VN-VR pumps except for the fluid reservior fitting (with the ecotecs using a remote mounted reservoir ofcourse) so in short the answer is still NO. however you could use parts from power steering pumps fitted to the ecotec engine in the pumps fitted to the VN-VR (buick) models

    mate front door speaker pods.
look at the front brake calipers, if yours don't have ribs on the then grab the vr ones and pick up rotors later.
vr brakes are bigger then early vp brakes.
