Hello all out there,
I have just joined the forum and am chasing some information. Yorti (Yor71) is making a high pitch noise that is heard in the cabin when the AC is on. Turn AC off she goes away. It is not temperature related, speed related or load related. Sometimes it will happen and sometimes it won't. Anyone else heard this noise or anything like that? It is deffinantly not a P/S whine (I work for Fordand know what they sound like). Very annoying noise would like a little direction if anyone has it.
Thanks alot
is it in the dash or is it comin from outside.
I sumtimes get a squeel in mine, wack the dash a few times in couple spots n it stops, i think its like a air accuator closing up n the air still being able to jst get past, good hit n she opens.
My noises come outta the middle vent...
Mine will do it ac on or off, soo yea
not sure if that helps at all
Thanks for the quick post buy its not a wind noise or anything its like a high pitched electrical squeal. Deffinantly inside of vehicle and just suspect centre of dash behind radio.......
Does it come and go with the compressor cycling on and off, or is it related to the blower motor?
Check out my VP right 'ere!
Doesn't change when AC cuts in and out and changing speed of blower motor doesn't change it
like a high frequency squeal? Because I have that too.

Nah not a whistle of gas it is like a high pitch frequency like a piece of electronics is making the noise - very bizarre and annoying.
mine starts to get a high pitched sequel after a few minuets from under the dash stops when the ac compressor kicks in or out i was told by an ac repairer it is most likely due to the ac being a touch low on gas causing tiny vibrations through the piping under the dash and not to be worried its common
having said that in summer it can bring a huge migraine on but who cares when its hot as long as its cold i don't complain![]()
