i would expect it to be in behind the oil filter.

by any chance is it part of the oil pump assembly

like when you change the oil pump over, it also changes over the "oil pressure regulator"

On all 304's Holden 5 Litres it is a screw in module located on the oil pump.
Should be a slide on clip from the loom that connects to it.

this picture shows the oil pressure sensor, but they have added another electronic using a t-piece. Best pic I could find quickly.

Yup, should be screwed right in on the oil pump, and you'll find it just behind the oil filter. If you can find the oil filter, you'll find the pressure reg no problems.

pressure regulator doesnt have wires but the oil pressure sender for the oil light does
