How ya goin
ive got a vq fuel tank and im wondering if it will fit into my vp
also is it a 80l.
its out of a vq caprice sII
cheers guys
Shouldn't be a problem, should be same rear cavity...
Just check your instrument cluster has a switch for 60 or 80 L tank.
I just think the mounting staps would have to be longer to be able to brace it.
As above, make sure you get the straps. Or just use ducttape.![]()

Like this one I have pinned up on my wall? Next to it is a large pen for comparison:

Ihave fitted a VQ Statesman 80ltr tank to my VN Calais and the only problem
that I came up again'st was the Statesman tank straps were different.
I got the straps from a normal VN or VP Sedan with an 80ltr tank.
This was the only problem that I came across, every thing else went fine.
Good luck with the conversion and I hope that I have been of some help
to you.
Cheers.
