    Default VQ Fuel Tank

    How ya goin

    ive got a vq fuel tank and im wondering if it will fit into my vp

    also is it a 80l.
    its out of a vq caprice sII

    Shouldn't be a problem, should be same rear cavity...

    Just check your instrument cluster has a switch for 60 or 80 L tank.
    I just think the mounting staps would have to be longer to be able to brace it.

    As above, make sure you get the straps. Or just use ducttape.

    Straps are different from sedan to Statesman i think.Maybe IRS are all the same but im sure there is a difference.

    pretty sure IRS straps are different to live axle ones

    Ihave fitted a VQ Statesman 80ltr tank to my VN Calais and the only problem
    that I came up again'st was the Statesman tank straps were different.
    I got the straps from a normal VN or VP Sedan with an 80ltr tank.
    This was the only problem that I came across, every thing else went fine.
    Good luck with the conversion and I hope that I have been of some help
    to you.
