Hey guys,
Over the weekend i have picked up a vn Calais as my new project car
I picked the car up for $100 of a mates and all it needs to be running is a alternator, fan belt and a pulley bracket
All is currently stock other than the head unit
Current Mods
None
Future Mods
Re-Spray white
Exhaust system
Mags not sure what yet any suggestions?
Convert to manual
Re do Interior
Anything to make it go faster!
UPDATE - 21/06/09
- Removed the roof lining as it was sagging and prepared it for new cover
- Removed Steering Pump Etc and now have a water leak looks to be from the pipe that goes into the heater
UPDATE - 12/07/09
- Fixed water leak
- Replaced spark plugs leads etc
UPDATE - 21/07/09
- Decided that we will be putting ecotec engine in the car
Going to have some parts up for sale! Soon

have updated the first post!
since taking out the pulley bracket it seems i took it off the wrong way and now i have got a massive water leak from what i think is the heater pipe. i have attached the image below any ideas ?

Some updates
I am planing to drop in a ecotec motor and a manual box
Wile we have the engine out going to give the car a full respray and then fit the new engine and box
will have some more pics this weekend

i didnt kno the lexan came out in a calis? unless its just a lexan with a holden calis interior
Wrecking VL factory V8 only a few bits left still have full dash/crash pad
and have a vk 202 motor and 5 speed Make an offer want it gone
Is it just me or has that front tire been pushed back like the car has gone up a gutter or something?

It's not just you mate, It definately has gone up a gutter, Bent Z bar + stub axel by the look of things....

Not sure it was had no badges when i got it but yes its a lexan not sure if its vn or vp i got told it was a vp but as i have been pulling the interior parts out i am seeing a few "VP" parts stickers

Got the motor all up and running so i can move it .. moved it into the garage and started to bog up the dents and holes from the spoiler
Goodluck with the plans mate, she looks pretty clean for $100 haha
its not to bad i picked up my vn berlina wagon for $100 of a mate with nothing wrong with it haha
