    Colour: atlas gret
    Odometer: 208,000
    Engine Type: holden 5L
    Exhaust: some form of tri y extractors, twin 3" exhaust
    Gearbox: auto
    Diff: 3.08 LSD (dead)

    I got this a while back i swapped my ute and $1500 for it. The previous owner trashed it pretty much mechanically and tried to tell me it was a 333ci and had big injectors and stuff , um well i told him he was full of it in a nice way and we worked out a deal. I've been slowly gettin it to how i want it/fixing his screw ups.

    So far i've done;
    upper trailing arms with boxed nolathane ones, adjustable strut tops, usual front end bushes, oil, filter, fuel filter, 4 tyres, alpine headunit, 4"alpine speakers in front, rewired abortion of original headunits wiring before i fitted the alpine one. got all lights working again, god rid of most of the puke inducing blue and gold engine bay theme the car had. painted manifold wrinkle black and overflow the same. replaced window switches, igniton module.

    Future plans:
    - replace stupid twin 3" with single 3" exhaust
    - replace diff (have spare standard diff i may put mini spool in)
    - replace aerial
    - fit decent 18's or 19's
    - paint rocker covers
    - fit new dizzy i scored (old one has some play in shaft)
    - get amp for sub i scored
    - manual conversion

    One day mods:
    -t56 conversion like stealthy's international
    -high comp, cammed motor

    let me know what you all think. I'm trying to load up pics now

    Sounds like you have put some work into it, good work! Definantly do something about those engine and rocker covers though lol. And get some exhaust tips It's pretty damn clean though.

    Alright i got a small update, stripped all the old brakes and ABS stuff off my spare stock diff, also picked up a minispool to fit. Got it all apart just need to fit minispool to centre then switch diffs, ran outa light today as i was trying to sort out a potential job. Should be good fun it wont take me too long to get her all in, was thinkin of giving under the backend a quick cleanup and just a bit of rattle can splender to cover up stone chips and stuff while im there.

    mine is physically ok, bar my shite rims and the paint scheme in engine bay, its everything else he touched that went downhill, It gets pretty anoying everytime you go to upgrade or repair something and then find it to be worse than it looks once you get into the job...

    Got my diff all sorted ready to bolt in today. Stripped out all the spider gears and stuff and fitted mini spool. Had mad dramas getting long pin to line up, i'm usually good at that so i got a bit pissed lol. The diff looked almost new, all the bearings have 2% bugger signs of even use, the gears are the same was so stoked when i saw how good it was inside. Got worst or the crappy paint and dirt off and gave it a quick lick of black paint doesnt look to bad. Ran outa daylight again applying for another job so tomorrow it's back to the old mans place again strip my brakes off my original diff yank that out and slip in the now shiny spooled one. Plus possibly bolt up a set of stockies and test drive, on private property well away from anyone of course;

    diff is in now, but brakes have started dragging....wtf? i dunno exactly whats going on yet only done it twice when i went backwards, handbrake comes up average amount so i dont think i went too overboard on that, maybe i bent the brake line on diff or sumthin stupid maybe a siezed caliper slide what you guys reckon? should have time to sus that tomorrow anyway.
