I figured no one is posting VPs anymore so i might aswell =)
I swapped my 1987 corolla for this =) and now am fixing it up to get it road worthy..i am a big fan of everyone here as ive been reading these forums for a while =p

MODEL: VP Berlina

ENGINE TYPE: Stock v6

ENGINE MODS: CAI Pod filter, GTsT Skyline Injectors

POWER: 160kw Running rich =)

EXAUST: Sports 2.5 inch Exhaust System with Pacemakers Extractors

GEAR BOX: Stock 4 gear auto

DIFF: Stock single spinner

BRAKES: Stock

SUSPENSION: Stock FE2

WHEELS/TYRES: 16 inch Walkinshaw Original Rims 225/50/R16

OTHER MODS: Nolathaine Bushes all around, Exhaust System, MoMo Steering Wheel,

Stereo.

STEREO: Panasonic?

BUILD PERIOD: 2 weeks so far

COST: ongoing

FUTURE MODS: Fix to be roadlegal (Fix smashed window, Get new Right front Headlight, Rear right headlight, New light bulbs all around, Go to Electrician and Sort Rear Brake Lights as only Bottom Ones on when the brake is applied.. ) Pay Registration. Lowering(Superlow Kingsprings?), Remove Resonator, Repaint Bumper, Fix Horn to fit New Steering Wheel, Fix Kink in Rim, SandBlast and Powdercoat Rims Black, Get new Right wheel Bearing as current is worn, Check out Warped right Front Disc, Fix any rust. ENGINE SWAP RB20DET, Bucket Seats, Repaint. Drive....>>

I Will add photos tomorrow.=) for you all to see =D i live in New Zealand not like everyone of you but would love to have some oppinions =) its going to be quite a long project..i have untill march before i start uni =D so..plenty of time..and money to be spent =D

Bought two headlights and indicators to replace spashed ones before..and indicators were fine..but the Headlight that i needed...was Effed...Ugh..So figured i might aswell not go cheap..and get good ones..120$ for headlight 60 for window and 90 for rear tail light 2 year warranty =)
But i get a deal for 150$ for all =D just gna go pick it up now so..il be back soon..in a hour or two =p

Meanwhile Guys let me know what you think..
I am 18 just turned this year =D i only earn around 170$ per week so..=Dand it is my 4th car...thru stupid deals..i used ot own a turbo s14..before i blew the motor because i was being an idiot..so..
The car has done 160,000 kms on the Engine and 271,000 on Body and Odometer stopped ticking over =/ ugh..but i am first going to go and fix up all the problems..and there are a few..so..and then start modding further..=/

Smashed window is froma breakin..and they Stole it..it was recovered..

Apart from the few damages from the theft, she looks like shes got some potential mate!

My Calais was a cooner when i bought it, but $15k later and shes getting there. Just keep at it mate and you love it!

vp berlina is a good pickup, i'd have one if i hadnt got the calais.

Personally when you get around to modding (tough on a tight budget, i know)

Clear side indicators(30 bucks)
get rid of the pod and get a proper cai from a Supercharged VS (80 bucks)
New grille (50 bucks depending on style)
new steering wheel (120 with boss kit)

Other than that... enjoy the build. VP's are easy to work on so youll find it to be a fairly easy process

K i just got my Headlight and Fitted it and got my Rear tail light and new window to replace the old smashed one. Still gota fit =/ =p
Bought a new grill too =)
unfortunatly its a VN grill but il make it work..as it doesnt quite =/ fit sticks out at the bottom..what il do is just heat the plastic up and bend it..so it sits properly
All thats left is to get an Electrician to look at the electrics..and im gud to go thru a warrant of fittness and i can drive it on the road legally =/

I have a Momo Steering wheel to go with and i got the Boss kit also. But the horn didnt work so i took it off..because u cant pass a warrant with no horn =/ just gota fix it and fit it back on..
What momo wheel is this? anyone know?

Smashed window now Replaced and Fitted

New Rear Tail light Fitted

New Right Head light Fitted

New VN Grill Test Fitted and Need to heat it up and Bend it to shape =p

Vacumed and Cleaned the Entire Car

Just have to Polish it tomorow and Wax it

Just have Electrics left to do and thats around 70$ and then i can go get a warrant and rego..=D

This week Doing full Service

Sparkplugs - Done
Oil - Tomorrow
Air filter - Done
Fan belt - Done

Question??>>> Do these motors run off Cambelts? or Chain?

And are my rims Walkinshaw Originals? ive been told they are..?

I want to know how you fitted GTST injectors (doesnt matter rb20/25/26 as they all have the same style) that are SIDE FEED into your commodore, which runs TOP FEED style injectors standard...

Just some aftermarket wheel mate, possibly CSA brand, should have a brand on the back of the wheel.

Had my dad take a look and they are off a GTS Skyline..Not a GTST but They appariently are more in cc then stock 3.8 idk..thats what i was told..

Why didn't you just unbolt the fuel rail on one side and lift out the injectors?
