White 05 V6 VZ Executive - Thrashed Ex Telstra car
and 3 Dangerous non ABS VN's
tuff car man look killa in sivler, my mate has the same interior in his '93, very odd but killa seats there VR style yea?
almost like suede
black mirror's are cool too, me like
Cheers guys, she's getting there slowly!
As 88GreenVN says, it's almost impossible to catch the pearl in photographs however in real life it is quite vibrant.
Nah, they're different to VR seats, I've only ever seen them in some VQ's and some VP Calais, not sure if they're in anything else. The material is different to most, sort of similar to suede I suppose.
Your Calais looks nice man, i've been wanting/looking for a clean one for ages now but they are few and far between optioned with the 5L.
They are not original VQ seats bud ^_^ Or they got re-trimmed at one stage.
Yours is a S2 VQ judging by interior, Seats are different.
Can you throw up a pic of rear seat? I'm super curious now.
Mint VQ by the way.

As I said, these interiors are very hard to find and most people have never seen them!
Yes, the interior is a Series 2 interior, however the car is a Series 1. This is because, as I said I rebuilt this car from a shell with everything out of my 1993 Series 2 Stato that was smashed.
Yeah, no problems, I'll go get a couple of pics of front seats and rear, along with the door trim. I spotted a set of these seats and doortrims pop up a while ago on ebay in mint condition also, was gonna buy them as a spare set to put away but forgot about the auction and never saw them again![]()
You've done a phenominal job, Not a big fan of the wheels but each to there own I spose.

There most definatly the stock '93 VQ seats. the black/blue dash is common but not the seats/door inserts (with holden logo)
the 93 stato 2 I know has the colour coded grill outta, bob tail wing, and the same seat's dash and door trims as this, it also has the side skirts n rear body kit (SS) style. the 93 also has doulbe skin pannels and thicker glass im lead to believe

sweet stato... i like the rims theyre what i had on my old vl calais
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
Oh yeah, and as Ducker said the update came with the full lower bodykit and the double skin panels, not too sure about the glass but I'll check since I have the glass from both series in the shed. They also have the retractable middle lap belt and a gas strut on the boot.
Anyway, just went and got some quick shots for ya Hozy, enjoy!
The camera has made them look all weird, dirty and worn along with the map pocket when they are all immaculate! Ahh well, lol.
Cheers Walesy, they're my favourite rims aside from FR's which i'm currently on the lookout for. The guy I got these off had them on his vl as well, candy apple red showcar, they suited it so well I was questioning his sale, lol.
Alright, I fkn love them, Door trims more than anything.
AWESOME RIDE!

So good score man, keep it clean I like it. also noticed there no chrome around the bumpers/door protecters should put it on mate.
lol, cheers mate.
Your's looks nice as well man, I loved my white one, they look so clean!
Yeah Ducker, as I said, there weren't many of the update model produced since production ended shortly after, so they are few and far between and very rarely show their heads. It's just a shame the original car got smashed, the day I picked it up the old lady was crying when we left with it since she'd had it since new!
I've got the chrome tape sitting on my bench, just need to go out and put it on, it's been sitting there waiting for about 4 months, lol.
mate really nice car
love that colour
good job man nic cruiser
cool, VQ, about as good as it gets for a series I VQ Statesman,
1992 VQII Statesman
1991 VP Calais/ 1992 VP Calais
1992 VPII Vacationer Wagon
Cheers guys, just finished installing airbags in a mates ssz yesterday and i've been considering them for ages now so finally sent off some emails to VASS accredited engineers with regard to having the kit engineered.
Engineering is the only thing that's held me back for so long, but since i've finally been motivated to do something about it, I may have some updated progress pics in the next month or two for you all!
