Vp ss

Hey all this is the VP i got not long ago. So far all it has is 2.5" exhaust with extractors, slightly worked head and heavy duty clutch. Which is enough for me, Revs pretty damn hard and has more then enough power, Interior is pretty stock just a ricey steering wheel i bought with it on. Has ROH 17" mags on the outside, and lower'd.

Future plans are to get it fully repainted as the roof is seriously faded, Also to put the other steering wheel on, Then sound system, got some alpine speakers to go in. Don't really wanna play around with the engine to much as it's fast enough as it is, Prob just make it look better when i put the covers on and all that. Any ideas would be good or any feed back. Will repost when it's repainted, cheers

Nah SS is dark blue.

The onyl difference i can see between reapers and the OPs is reapers seats don't look to have red piping around them, like SSs should have. The material matches tho.

Yeah all SS that i've seen were blue with red piping. I swapped a land rover discovery for it. I think it was a great swap considering the condition the land rover was in. Also need some power window switches if anyone has any laying around. Mine broke lol

I have some power window switches floating around. Let me know which ones you need and what you think they are worth.

Nice car man, gotta love the old 8's. Get rid of that pice of shit pod and chuck a CAI on way better and you wont get in shit for it.

I plan on extending the pod out further then putting a heat box around it to make it look better and stop hot air floating in. Yeah i need the driver's switch and the rear passenger side one too. I thought they were vp tail lights lol. I'll prob leave the wing off cause i'm not a big fan of them. Good response so far lol. Can't wait till it's all repainted lol

Nah man the VP SS is the best looking Commodore Holden ever build pretty much so it needs to be how it is. With VP lights and the wing, trust me on this

. Just throw the pod out, weve all been there and done that, the factory airbox and factory cai while not perfect is so much better than what you have now and cheap and effective, just do that: ). My VP came with a pod like that and it was sooo slow compared to the factory airbox

* radiator shroud
* remove or new bonnet lining

Yeah i got a shroud sitting next to my car but haven't put it on yet. I been workin on my Mazda the last few days redoing my interior but now finished this will get some more attention. Also have a stock air box i was going to put on with a K&N Filter but it must be off a 6 or a vs or something cause the alternator blocks it so thought i'd stay with the pod but it seems like the origional one sounds the way to go so i might just take a trip to the wreckers and grab one. What's the difference between vp and vn tail lights? I always wanted the vp ss so i'm stocked on this car

spats will look mint get that back wheel tucking abit, no wing and clear indicators cheap start to make it look better IMO

agree with that.
Also appears like the pod intake pipe is a smaller diameter than the t/b which isn't a good thing. Factory throttle body was barely large enough as it was!
