Thread: My second VN....S PAC

    Default Swifty's Slammed S PAC [updated]

    Ok finally time to re-edit the thread. Ill add some new pictures soon!

    Ive had the car for just under a year now and it has really had its ups and downs.... but its safe to say its now running and SORT OF looking how i want it....

    Can a mod please change the heading for me to "Swifty's Slammed S-pac"?

    Can you people please ask what you want to see on the car because i have no idea what to take pictures of haha....

    Model: 1990 VN S-Pac (i was told haha)
    Kilometers: 120,000 on the engine | 300,000 on the car
    Colour: White
    Gearbox: T5 Manual (from a ford im told also)
    Engine: 3.8L V6


    [INTERIOR]
    - Statesman seats front and rear
    - Dark tinting on the windows
    - Front door speaker pods fitted
    - Some door trims have statesman parts
    - Electric mirrors
    - 6 X LED tubes (180 LEDS all up) that are all installed and hidden and can change up to 7 different colours, looks great at night

    [ENGINE, ect]
    - Had the series ONE auto engine installed (car is manual), out of my old VN which is a brilliant motor only having about 120,000 on it.
    - New radiator, pumps, filters, plugs, leads all been done THIS MONTH
    - New copper core radiator
    - Twin throttle body

    [EXHAUST]
    - 2.5 inch from the cat back mandrel bent
    - Pacemaker extractors
    - Hi-flow cat
    - New gaskets and welds throughout (this was done because the exhaust place recommended i weld the joints because of the problems i get because of how low the car is)
    - The extractors really messed up how the exhaust sat so had to get the usual universal system replaced with custom pipes

    [SUSPENSION]
    - Adjustable panhard rod
    - Whiteline front swaybar
    - Short stroke shocks all round
    - Nolthane bushes and rods throughout
    - King springs all round
    - Heavy duty link pins

    [SOUND]
    - Clarion head deck (supports USB, AUX, DVD, all that shit)
    - 2 X clarion 15" subs in the boot in a custom made box to sit over that pesky hump
    - 2 X Fusion monoblocks to run the subs
    - 2 X 6" clarion's in the front pods
    - 2 X 6"X9" clarion on the parcel shelf
    - 1 X BOSS AUDIO amp to run the parcel shelf speakers

    [OTHER]
    - pro5.0 shifter
    - VN ss LSD
    - Tail shaft fully rebuilt
    - New wheel bearings up front
    - Heavy duty clutch
    - Tow bar
    - Power steering pump and rack done not long ago
    - HID head lights and controller boxes
    - 17" SS rims with new rubber Now have 20s
    - Made a nice sticker that i put on my rear window in old english "Built with spanners not chopsticks" | it gets mixed reactions
    - HID ballast headlight kit
    - That silly, over-priced crank adapter needed to put an auto engine in a manual car

    [To do list]
    - Looking at getting 19 or 20 inch HSV rims NOW on zinik 20s
    - Fix central locking DONE!
    - Fix drivers window (needs to be pushed up while winding it up)
    - Scrap the sound system and add a comp system New system on its way thanks to joe!
    - Want a new CAI, only have the stock box at the moment
    - Clean up engine bay
    - Respray back bumper white
    - Touch up some of the paint in some areas
    - Complete re-do my boot interior white marine carpet and remove that silly vent that lets all the dust in
    - Twin throttle body

    Latest mods done:
    - Central locking, keyless entry, alarm and immobilizer all installed
    - Resprayed grille because the f***ing thing fell out when i was driving
    - Bought a tuned memcal and chip thanks to RUF 231
    - Got my new 10k watt sub and 5k watt monoblock from joe, just gotta install it all

    Nice looking VN, but what makes you think its an S pac as I don't think it is for a few reasons, the side door mold is wrong for a start.

    Yea it was auto. I got that brown vn before i got my P's and registered it after i got my P's. It was the first auto i actually drove, so i really missed manual.

    The engine taht was in there is close to dieing, was making bad noises, and i wanted to swap to the neat engine out of my old VN.
    I removed both engines and took the car to the mechanic only to find out the Serious 1 autos cant be put on a manual because they have a different crankshaft.

    Oh joy!
    Just waiting to buy ANOTHER engine now.

    Spent the day giving it a polish, then it rained =/

    Also have some nice GROUND ZERO spl subs on the way from Germany along with a nice 3000 watt spl monoblock. Going to be loud (looking for around 150 dbs)

    hey bud not a bad bit of kit. one thing though i hate to burst your bubble but there not ultra lows there supers ultras ud be tucking rim on the rear
    WTB: VY/VZ front buckets any spec
    WTB: VR/VS right hand side doors preferably white with electric motors for windows and locks
