HSV VP Clubsport #002 build date 4/10/91
1st VP Clubsport built (#001 built 18/10/91)
Listed as HSV Engineering Dept and Managers Loan Vehicle.
Actual vehicle used in VP Clubsport Sales Brochure.
Built specifically for VP HSV launch at 91 Sydney Motor Show 11/10/91 where it was displayed alongside the new SV91 and Sportwagon.
Feautured in "Road & Track" Nov 91 photographed outside Sydney Motor Show grounds.
Was then featured in many car magazines , including;
"Motor" Jan 92 - Road tested with the SV91 - "Short of a VN Group A they are the best handling commodores we have ever driven.
"Car Australia" Jan 92 -also tested alongside SV91 - "Driving the Club Sport hard is the really enjoyable bit.It is a bit noisier than the SV91"
"Wheels" Feb 92 - Taken to Sydney and tested ay Eastern Creek.

Also taken out on night photo shoot and pictured in front of Harrys Cafe De Wheels.
"Road & Track" Feb 92 - Photographed doing huge drift "HSV continues to produce Australia's only muscle cars"
"Street Commodores" #11 2005 "Good Sports"- pictures used from 1992 photo shoot in Sydney including on freeway in front of Hyatt building
Its final Sales receipt from HSV dated 21/1/93 states "Fully detail car and prepare for Indy trip" I guess she went to Gold Coast for a final fling !

Engine bay left untouched.They took the wheels and the dash id badge. Didnt take the engine bay build plate.
Just got replacement dash id badge from HSV. Apparently they made three badges for each build number.One was put on the car and the other two kept in storage. When I went in too order the badge at Metro holden at first they said "na cant be possible" but I insisted and he phoned HSV. Turns out "HSV Despatch keeps the badges in a box somewhere".So I ordered it.Had to confirm I was registered owner etc etc and paid my money......$388.25 thank you very much.
Is the real deal though. Looks great !
