Got the fuel tank painted in silver. Leaving the straps black, as i believe it stands out more.

    This week will include:
    New exhaust tip
    Rear brake pads

Below you will find a few pictures of the painting process, as well as a few quick snaps that I took today, showing the tank freshly painted tank off.

Next on the list is new headlights with white/blue globes (the same I had in my VT)
My current headlights are slightly yellowed, and I have store credit at a wreckers
I might try giving them a thin 3 strip pin striping, to see how it looks.

    Dave.

    Before

    Primed

    1st coating (4 coats)

    2nd coating (3 more coats)

Well... so far I've got my new headlights with white/blue light combo.
Looks a lot cleaner, better than the yellowed headlights it had before

Next on the list is to get my new exhaust tip welded on, and paint the center of the front grill with chrome paint. I've yet to see how this chrome paint recommends, but my lady friend, who loves painting and also loves cars, swears by it. (She used it on her VXs front grills)

Pictures will come later, when I get some time off work

EDIT: I'm also selling my rims to replace then with S1 statesman hubcaps. I really like the classy look they give. I've found a set for $180 (Not too bad?) in mint condition. Just need a buyer for my wheels.

Um exemption was anything but easy, and even now I don't feel as if I should be driving the car.
That being said, I've been pulled over many times and all I've stated is "I have a permit to drive the car due to power/weight ratio". I've never been asked for the actual exemption letter.

I don't really want to go into to much detail on how I went about getting it A magician never reveals his tricks

Since last update, I've sold wheels, put Statesman Series 1 hubcaps on, got a chrome grill and installed LED day-time driving lights where fog-lamps would be positioned.
I will put some pictures up soon

    I'm with JustCarInsurance.
Paying around $180 annually for 3rd party. It's relatively cheap considering what I was paying for a VT v6 last year... ($650+)
