Free VP Wagon

Gday fellas,

Grandfather is getting too old to drive so he's offered to give me his VP Wagon for free. Not complaining at all with that, Rego ran out Nov 09, apparently it's pretty good order (engine and driveline etc). Currently own a EL Falcon (Daily bought for $1000 with rego so why not) and have a UC Torana with 202.

Pretty much from here it's going to be a cheap car, i'm a mechanic and also about to get into the Engine Reconditioning industry, so it should be a breeze to get her in good order.

Tell us what you think, only thing i can see is; dint on driver side and clean up the interior a bit.

Pictures of the Torana. At the moment she's in bits and pieces. Fairly old photos of the girl (you can see by the L plates that are up lol).

Plans are to keep her a 6 and do up a 308 on the side, or even an RB30 turbo... still deciding on it all.

She's running; stock 202 bottom end, 149 High Compression head with a bit of port work done, got some Yella Terra Roller rockers and a Hydraulic Crow Cam Stage 2. She should go alright. Hoping if i get the RB30 to be pulling high 11's.

Dream would be a 308 with RX-7 turbo or the like. Possibly twin turbo but fitting it in the engine bay is going to be a problem
