my all motor vn v6
hey all i got a new car its a vn commonhore has been built to handle boost but boost has been taken off. the car is in gr8 cond for a vn and has 136000 on the clock and 46000 on engine the stuff thats done to its pointless without boost but hear is the list
yellaterra rollarockers
v8 throttle body
coldair intake
chiptorque chip tune [bob hawkins lol]
xr6 turbo red top injectors
bored out fuel rail
bored out fuel reg
port polish
crack tested block
fully rebuilt motor
heads flowd to 500hp

i have a problem it has 4th gear issue wen im driving normal it will shift from 3rd to 4th real easy but when im into it from rolling start and it go's to shift from 3rd to 4th it just valve bounces at the top of
3rd and wont change is this normal as its only a 4 speed and 4th is an over drive? i have 3.7 diff gears so it gets to 4th real quick

cool, so what makes it built for boost and what kind of induction were you running supercharger / turbo??
stock bottom end?
looks good tho, normally you cant accelerate in 4th? i forget exactly but if you disconnect the kickdown cable you might be able to.

it had a raptor supercharger on it once in its life
and now the box wont shift into 3rd at full throttle think the box is dyeing

hmm, if u threw a new turbo or supercharger on then all the mods that u said are useless would be again useful lol, n i dunno if people would wonder..unless u just smashed them at the lights haha

So why was the forced induction removed. Have you had it down the track or are you just blowing off excels and kias at the lights?
Looks like a vn with a few engine mods, unless the motor really was built for boost. Forgies, h beams and a boost cam? or just a standard rebuild??

supercharger was removed befor i brought it andthe previous owner said he built it to make better power on boost so he rebuilt the engine and put some bolton bits on it
